Morning - By way of introduction, my names Chris, Im based in Fourways JHB and have just / in the process of buying an F800GS. Primary use will be for commuting, but also looking forward to some adventure trips. Any advice from the gents or ladies on the forum is welcome but to start I have two questions
1. Is there an "academy" or a bike school that one could attend on a weekend (for example) to improve my riding.?? Im competant on MX bikes and Enduro's but new to commuting (in the last 25 years anyway)
2. That said I have chatted to many mates who ride and asked for some pointers for road riding... occupy the lane, dont be lane splitting at breakneck speeds, be EXCEPTIONALLY aware etc... is there more that the experienced members of the forum could make me aware of..
