What is the advantages of a DS helmet over a full face, apart from the (obvious) peak to keep sun out of your eyes?
I want to upgrade my old System 4 helmet and none of the DS helmets BMW / AGV / Shoei / Nolan fits so nicely as a Shark S-900 C full face. Only the Arai came close.
I am doing about 70 road / 30 dirt and the System 4 was and is fine, except it is getting old now.
So, why do I need to pay more (from about R1000 up to R5000 more than the Shark) for a DS helmet, what are the advantages that I am missing here?
