Hi WD; so today I took a hit but am ok.
A few bruises and little bit of an headache.
Was cruising on gravel road, and geared down upon seeing two herdsman and two heffers. My speed came down to approximately 30-40km/h.
As I was about to pass them; the heffers decided to walk into the road. I guess I was knocked out when ai hit the ground. Woke up, herdsman and heffers were gone.
Bike on its side and fuel spilt out as the fuel valve -[KTM 640 Adv R] broke off due to impact on crashbars.
Helmet [Bell mips MX-9 had few scuffs and the sun-visor snapped on the end that too the hit.
This was an adventure helmet, but considering an MX helmet as the roads which I now ride have changed to majority of gravel.
Which MX helmets could-would you recommend and why?
