Story of my life. I always dread having to buy new shoes - why did I think motorcycle boots would be any different :?. The 41 is too tight across the front, and the 42 is too big. Why don't they do half sizes anymore?!
I think I have now tried every pair of 41/42 touring boots in the Cape. BMW Allround & Santiagos. Stylmartins. Daytona. Fox. Etc. Etc. (WaterWorld had the Oxtars but don't keep all sizes - they order on request, but what if I want to try the 41 and 42, and may not take either??). In the end, I even considered those WWF Shift MX ones at Mike Hopkins, but fortunately it's out of my price range. The TracMac range (mostly AMA Racing) is, erm, of dubious quality.
So now I'm still in my Pods - a fairly solid half-boot, but no ankle/leg protection.
