I am a completely new rider. I know that I am looking for something to use as a dual purpose bike for both on and off-road fun and have started researching a few options.
My list as it stands is:
Suzuki DR650SE
Kawasaki KLR650
Honda XR650L
and then as a slightly different option the Yamaha XT660Z.
What do you guys think about these and are there any specific issues with any of them I need to watch out for. I will be looking for a decent second hand model so help in identifying potential problems would be really helpful. Any other feedback or personal experience with these would also be great.
