Hi All
I am in need of some help from all you adventure bikers out there. I am looking to get into adventure biking, guys I'm a serious novice here !! I mean riding a vespa through colledge about 15 years ago does not qualify riding a proper bike.
Now I need to ask some questions, please bear with me
Could I go straight into adventure biking (learning of coarse) or shall I start with a small road bike and get used to riding again on roads (which I'm not so keen on)
I've been looking at the 650cc range of bikes (is this to big to get started??) what do you all suggest?
The bikes that have caught my eye are : bmw 650 dakar ; yammy 650 tere ; honda 650 transalp. BMW being my first choice. I want to spent 40k max on a good used bike.
I'm about 1.80m tall and weigh about 75kg, and plan to ride 60 % dirt.
Guys if you could shed some light on my little dilemma I would be truly grateful.
