Help needed for XT500 Carb Issue near Sabie/Nelspruit

A lady I know who conducts audits at our factory in Cape Town needs help with a carb issue on her XT500.
Can anyone help her or recommend someone who knows these carbs? Her current mac reckons she needs a new carb which I find hard to believe. Any help appreciated.
