So I am seriously concerned, I took by bike for a spin and about 100m from home it died on me :dousing:
Came home and found no petrol getting to 3 of the carbs, pulled the fuel pipe off of the petcock and loads of crap came out
So this evening I decided to stick a telescopic magnet into the tank to see what the hell was going on in there, and what do you know RUST!!! TONNES OF THE BLOODY STUFF
What I dont understand is that I had the tank cleaned and lined by silverton while I was busy with my rebuild (must only be 3 months old)
How do I get rid of the rust, and what would have caused it in the first place?
