Wildly impressed by J-mo and his daughters ride report, I also decided to take my little girl for a ride.........
We left home around 10:00 and headed straight for Swakopmund for breakfast at Cafe Treff. On the way there we stopped at the Swakop River bridge to see the river run into the sea.

The four things that I like, bikes, ships, structural steel and the sea....
and a few kilometers further towards Henties, you will see this fishing vessel laying on it's side....

Finally we arrived at this pub and grub store in Henties....
The catches looked good....

Here you can get your fish cleaned, your vehicle washed, your tummy filled and your throat wet....
We opt only for the tummy filled option....

We thought we will do the welcome thing, on our way out....

Our last stop before we finally head for home....
The building behind is the place where the actual desalination must happen....
The design criteria was that the building blend in with the environment...., you be the judge....
