And here’s a quick little challenge that I thought someone would have noted already.

What is the difference between this Adventure Sports and the one currently available to us?

First guy to answer it correctly can get one of our Adventure Roads 2019 stickers.

SA spec has a flat seat and the colour looks different.
Bigger tank too I think

The Adv. Sports does have a bigger tank compared to the std. Africa Twin, but I think Kobus is asking for the difference between the SA spec Adv. Sport and these Euro Spec. Adv. Sport bikes.............

Raaiskoot!

Spot on AdventureBoy.  :thumleft:

It’s the one thing that I really disliked of the model on our showrooms and the first thing I noticed when I saw these.  Your sticker will be in George not long after the event finishes.

The more I look at your pics the more confused Im getting!
Are you sure these are ADV Sports models and not just new colour 2019 Twins ?
No flat seat, no steel lugage frame and in the photos the tank also dosnt look any
bigger than standard ?
Just asking ?

You are probably right Andrew.  I’ll check again.  I was so excited about the black frame on the perceived ATAS that I am totally oblivious to the rest.  The ATAS does have a much higher seat, the first thing I noticed when I went to look at them at the dealer.

That's your difference they are not adventure sports - those ones say it right on the side  :imaposer:

The standard version - the one we know since 2016-  still apply's to the "normal" AT that are still produced, but the Adventure Sport is more of a Adventure tourer with some additions. Most notable...It has the Touring screen. Bigger tank. Slightly beefed up suspension, raising it by a couple of millimeters. Ride by wire. Heated grips. Colour scheme, of course. New bash plate and crash bars included.

It does seem that these particular Adventure Road, new colour scheme bikes are just that... only new colour scheme bikes. Its part of the standard AT versions that are still manufactured.

Eish, wish I could have a comeback in the lines of ...... ‘Ha, that was just a test guys’, but alas, I truly got confused by the mere color scheme. :patch:  :lol8:

Sticker is still going to AdventureBoy if he wants it.  :thumleft:

For you two that corrected me, you get absolutely nothing but a thank you very much.  :lamer:

[member=5024]Catchy[/member] , I know how big a AT fan you are.  I’ve got a sticker for you.  :thumleft:
