I have noticed the smell of petrol on the dipstick of my Africa Twin.
After asking around I have learned this could be
because I don't close the petrol taps when I stop or
because it is an old carburator bike, the needle and seed is worn and the carburators flood and petrol goes into the oil when I stop.
The solutions are either to replace the needle or drain the oil and close the taps after stopping.
Has this ever happened to anybody? Any inputs welcome
