I think I'm in the right board for this.
I'm considering building a hovercraft to play with..Already have an engine and the base is not too hard or expensive to build.
1. What do I use for skirts?
2. How long does the skirts last? Thinking maintenance
3. How must the skirts be cut at the corners, I read and heard of an S pattern, but I haven't figured out where does what go (The corners need to be brought in so the air 'chamber' doesn't leak out too much)
4. What fan?
I want to go single motor with a 3rd of the fan blowing down a duct to make the air cushion. Any advice on that or must I go find me a leaf blower too?
