Looking at it from the Dakar perspective, the throttle body house the injector, throttle position sensor and a throttle valve actuator (function?). The injector is basically a solenoied valve that electronically control the amount of fuel injected. Is it a constant spray, just the amount is controlled, or shut-off as needed? An air temp- an O2 sensor also feeds into the Control Unit. Would any of the components need to be replaced at some stage due to normal wear and tear? I know FI systems are generally very reliable.
