How legit is Paypal. Need Urgent advice. (OK definitely a SCAM)

I have someone who saw my add on gumtree. He wants to make a paypal payment and then have a shipping company come pick the bike up.

Anybody know if this could be a scam or have any of you dealt with someone overseas using this method?
