Most new lids liners settle and compress a bit in the first few months, and most people that had a lid that had the perfect fit, now sit with a slightly loose fitting lid.

The cheapest option is to buy these sealing strips from any DIY shop or Midas outlet for less than R20 bucks. They offer different thickness's and width's and densities. The density is the same as most liners, so you still have a soft padding like feel, nothing hard, geddit?  ;)

If your lid's liners can be removed just stick them on the inside and adjusting by cutting thinner or adding until the lid fits the  way you want it. These strips have their own adhesive, same as double sided tape.
