The GPS male plug keeps on vibrating out from the female cigarette socket on dirt roads and power connection is lost (yes yes I know by using words like male, female and vibrating loose I am opening the floor here for a few comments ;D )
The GPS socket / cable is the standard one that came with the Nuvi 500, the cigarette socket is the standard buy everywhere one with the rubber cap that seal when not used and it is mounted on my 800GS left side of the speedo close to the screen, so right up front.
Perhaps better female socket, better placement of socket where there's less vibration, Hella plug (which from 4x4 experience I've leant it can also have bad connections), permanent direct cable (with fuse) from the battery ???? Help please.
