Well it's finally done and i can't wait to put them to the test, unfortunately i will only be able to do a proper test over the month end.
Right so first off, go to www.holan.pl and order a set of luggage racks. i chose the Adventure ones purely because i have a set of adventure panniers and it'd be silly to get a whole new set of panniers.
wait for this to arrive,
Push Hp outside while the sun still out and admire it!
Unpack your bag of goodies making sure you don't lose any of the small washers in the grass:blast
Take off the rear plastic covers as well as the tail piece
Unscrew the bolts that hold the rear subframe on
Take off the right footpeg making sure you do not lose the circlip
Take out the bolt that keeps the footpeg level
Put the luggage rack in place and bolt back, there is a replacement bolt for the bolt that holds the footrest level, the short one goes on the right hand side. I just screwed them in loosely and then after i had all the bolts in place did i tighten them all.
Now as i don't have a service stand i had to improvise, so lie the bike down on its right side and repeat the process, there is a replacement bracket for the exhaust mount, otherwise there is interference, just put that in and no worries.
Inteference
With replacement bracket - no worries
Srip the tailpiece untill you get all the wiring out.
The standard indicators will still work if you also order the new tailpiece from holan.
An Final product
Now just put all the wiring back and screw on your number plate and guess what
Bob's yer uncle!
Then just some other Very nice bling i have
So there is an ultimate DS Bike, it just needs some mods, more to come.
Cheers
