Idling to fast

For about a month I've got a problem with the idling on my bike.  Sometimes the idling is to fast, over 2000 rpm.  When I give the throttle a small quick twist it comes down to the correct speed.  When I again turn the throttle and give it a good rev, it's up again over 2000.  Cables sticking somewhere?  Injectors or something?
