Bit of an odd question. Is there any way of increasing the stability of a bike trailer when transporting two big bikes . I have a ‘3’ bike trailer, recently transported two big bikes, combined weight approx 550kg’s around 1300km’s, I found the trailer all over the place behind the vehicle. Bikes were loaded symmetrically, and they are of roughly the same size. Would increasing the width of the tyre do any good? It currently has those pathetic ‘trailer’ tyres, looks like a Marie biscuit.
