Little bit I've read says that it's very important that injectors for a boxer engine are giving the same amount of fuel. It's common, I read, that one cylinder produces more power than the other which results in rough idling, not linear power, etc. Have chucked in a bottle of two of injector cleaner before (not all at once). There are places that services injectors, and supposedly it's not that uncommon with motor vehicles and trucks. Steve's auto clinic provides such a service, for example.
