Is your ATGATT Insured in an Accident?

So a Duiker took me down on a recent Trip near Steytlerville and I was lucky to escape with only a broken Wrist, some damage to the Bike and completely farked  ATGATT. A Riding Buddy suggested that I should check with my Insurance whether The  Gear was covered but it was not. I curse myself now for overseeing that Detail because my Arai Helmet, Alpinestar Boots, Gloves, KTM Jacket and Pants were worth as much as the Parts that had to be replaced on the Bike.
