January 2010 - Three weeks - Cape Town to Namibia and Back

Hey Wild Dog Members,

I'm considering a trip for January. The route would be shadowing an overland truck expedition up from Cape Town through Namibia. They will continue up to Kenya, but I'll have to head back to Cape Town for work.

Here is the rough itinerary, starting on about the 22nd of January and returning to Cape Town by around the 6th of February.

Any advice would be appreciated. I'm planning on doing this solo (aside from the truck that I'll be shadowing and camping with), but I'd be more than happy to get some company on a leg or more of the trip if you want to ride along.
