The Jozi2Kozi Motorcycle Adventure Challenge 2017 is from the 17th to the 20th August.

The unique Jozi2Kozi Motorcycle route crosses some of the most spectacular countryside in South Africa, crossing the Northern side of SA from Joburg to Kozi Bay in Zululand. The route crosses farmlands along jeep and single tracks, the Ithala Game reserve, Pongola river crossings, bushveld valleys & fun twisting pathways in Zululand, the route crosses the Lebombo range and the sandy Mhlab’uyalingana coastal plain (the earth is flat), and ends at the most spectacular Kozi Mouth. Full 3 days spectacular riding over more than 700km’s.
For 2017 we will stay at the same awesome overnight spots - Country Trax Amersfoort, Bivane Dam Lodge & Utshwayelo Lodge Kozi Bay - but there will be new route sections - same same but different ;D Our team transports your bags from venue to venue so you just ride. Tent or lodge options. For the tent option a tent and mattress are setup for you and waiting with your bag on arrival.
There are three route options
The Red Route will have tough technical sections, river crossings, single track and twee spoor with some gravel district roads interconnecting these most suited to the smaller bikes and more technically competent riders.
The Green Route, designed for larger motorcycles will follow the same route with “detours” around the more technical sections on gravel or tweespoor roads. It is possible to pick and choose both green and easier red sections. The entire route must be followed on a GPS, it is not marked.
A Blue route designed for the more adventurous has a combination of the less technical red route sections with some green routes where it gets too hectic. Best suited for 800 cc class bikes or competent big bike riders.
