It's been about six months since I sold my Dakar and parked DS riding in the cabinet of things I'll remember and not be doing anymore.
Well, a bit of exercise and my knee is working better and the collapsing knee syndrome (from the Strom accident in '07) is now controlled through some work on the knee.
My bike touring and rental business is starting to take off nicely and the fleet of BMW800ST's is building up nicely with another six arriving on December 1st.
And then, a few days ago, I notice an ad for a keenly priced '08 650GS with a few farkles. So I think, well this might make a nice little something extra for the fleet and, would put me back in the saddle of a DS bike.
So finally, I'll be able to live some of the adventures you lot have posted here over the past few months, albeit that I won't be riding too many technical pieces, just some really entertaining touring.
Will put a few more pics on later today with some of the extra farkles, but so far, Beefy hand-gaurds, Kappa screen, Engine bash plate, crash bars, top box and tank bag.
Looking forward to doing a bit more riding with the Dogs again,
