Kidney stone Tube ???

Thought the whine from the front (TKC80) was getting louder, anyway got home and gave the front a spin to hear a slight rumble. Whipped it off today and removed the seals and bearings and they are still  full of grease. Confused I turned the wheel and the f(*&^cker has kidney stones innit. Where does this come from ? its a pretty new HD moereva  thick enduro tube i think Michelin or so a good brand unit. What causes this and can I ride with them in or do i need to perform surgery and cut and patch ???? Not so chuffed as since its been fitted I never had a puncture
