My second hand long range Acerbis tank for the 84 KLR 600 (hen's teeth has nothing on this thing) arrived today. I tried to fit it but it's got slightly different front mounting recesses than the standard tank.
I'm thinking there must be rubbers or bracket type of things the rubber can fit onto. Anyone have some lying around or know where I can get them?
Some pics of the problem. Bottom of each tank, first pic is the new tank, second the old with the difference in measurements and the third pic is the rubber the standard tank sits on,
