Having ridden road bikes most of my life D/S bikes did not get a second look from me, which is quite sad
seeing that I've missed out on years of dirt riding. For the last four years I've being riding offroad on a
quad and from what I've read on this forum they are passionately hated. So when I had the opportunity
to buy a basket case Klr 600 for reasonably little money, I jumped at it.
When I say basket case, I mean basket case. Among heaps of other things, the most serious problem
is the head, some rocket scientist with a phd in backyard mechanics decided to weld two of the cam caps.
Both Lecap and Dr Klr would be able to help and I will be contacting them closer to the time.
Some pics after the motor was taken out.
