KLR650 2008 - dual headlights

Something that just occurred to me.... The 08 model onwards KLRs have 2 headlights, one is low beam and the other high beam. Has anyone though of converting them so they are both on on low beam and both on high beam? Would it just require changing the bulbs to dual filament and changing the wiring? Not that I have a KLR anymore. A Strom already has this amazing feature!
