Gentile men who own KTM 950/990's, hear this suggestion.
Having read a few threads on ADVriders and elsewhere, I am nervous that my technical knowledge of the stalion I ride is insufficient for small "Field Fixes". I have been toying with the idea of trying to arrange a "course" of sorts for those who feel the same. I was thinking that perhaps it takes the form of a bunch of us getting together and paying a wise guru to take us through various procedures, such as flooding, fuel pump changes, etc. Perhaps we can make a weekend of it in a decent location, throw in some good riding!
I would like any suggestions as to who / where such a thing gets presented and who will be interested. Then we can work on the topics to be covered.
So, post a reply if you're interested and state what you feel should be covered. Bear in mind that the point will not be for major mechanical repairs, but rather common symptons and field repairs.
Perhaps we can persuade a guy like SGB to get the "Legend" to show face
