KTM Virgin ...

I am on the precipice of buying a 2009 KTM 990 Adventure, with only 57'000 km's on the clock. Lots of yummy extras included too and great condition, but torn between that and a BMW R1200GS, as I'm coming over from a BMW Sertao 650. Just want some honest feedback and/or advice for those of you that have moved over from one manufacturer to the other. We live rather remotely, and our trip into town is 25 km gravel with 18 km tarmac if that makes any difference ...
