I was unable to stay over for the weekend but I managed to get up to Greytown for Saturday's hectic ride.
It was great to meet other like minded people .Marius rode his Beemer like a pro considering the terrain.Evan found his feet by mid morning and it looked like he was having a ball.Ian .....what can I say he can ride.Dave looked a bit hungover in the morning. But by midday he went from sweeper to the front of the ride.

We had a few minor breakdowns
1- Jon snapped off his rear brake lever 10 km into the ride .
2-Marius had cosmetic damage and a cracked clutch cover.
3-Derek had a puncture and I pinched the new tube ...twice.
All this led to us having a late lunch at Zingela. After a great lunch we decided to
make a beeline for the Beehive .Somewhere along the way we lost Ian.Charging ahead Ian took a right instead of a left and headed off to Colenso. After searching and messaging
him we set off for Greytown .Ian eventually caught up with us on the tar.
We hit an air curtain of icy air between Weenan and Muden .This then went on to become misty and wet all the way back to Greytown .
Thanks for a great day.
Here is a not so short clip of our ride

Some say you can only see him in the dark .He moves like a blur. Thanks JonW for leading the Kamikaze Ride

Bwahaha

Wouldn't quite call it a kamikaze ride, but everyone who came along seemed to enjoy it.

As usual had good intentions of taking lots of pics, but as usual the riding was so good my good intentions were forgotten next to the track.

Here are a few pics I took near the start

Nice terrain guys!

Trevor. Thanks for a fantastic ride. I don't think I've bottomed out a suspension so many times in one ride in my whole life! Some of those jumps really had wings. Thought things might be going a bit pear shape when Derek and myself launched across the donga you found on your back wheel but we all landed OK. When's the next one! Ian

PS. Best of luck with the Roof Derek!

PPS: I've never really understood this KTM690 thing but after spending a day with Trevor and Derek on their big 690's I have definitely got it now!

Butch, thank you so much for allowing the gatecrasher from Worcester to join! I absolutely thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you also for the price I received! Can't wait to go spend time at Koedoeskloof again!

En my rymaats?

Nothing like a little daisy-nap in Tommy's garden after a hard night at Notties, and while waiting for the troops to get ready to roll.
