3 of us doing top of Lesotho through Sani. If anyone would like to join us please pm me. A very rustige, laid back trip planned. My mates are newbies so it should be fun.
Friday 16th. Depart Alberton 6am. N3 to Harrismith, go view Sterkfontien dam - onto R74 through Bergville onto Estcourt then Howick view Midmar dam. Jump onto R617 to Underberg/Himeville. Camp or stay in a hotel. I prefer camp.
Saturday: Depart 7am. Tackle Sani Pass, enjoy pub (photo up), then onto Mokhotlong (fill fuel) then head back a bit and go through Ha-Rafolatsane/Linakeng/Taung to Thaba-Tseka (fill up). Then its gravel road (some maps say its tar some maps say it fravel - im unsure) to Kholo-Ntso or Katse Lodge. View Katse dam. Stay at Bokong National Park - definitly camping here.
Sunday: Depart 6am. On through Pitsong, Khanyane onto Caledonspoort, through Fouriesburg and onward home to Alberton. (Longest day in the saddle me thinks)
As I said, anyone is welcome. Just mail me or PM me. The more bikes the better.
