That BMW bashplate design is a real shocker, what genius came up with that idea?

The clown that designed the infamous 1200GS bash plate was at the 2006 GSC, when challenged about it's kark design his comment was...'Ve haf neffer herd about zis problem before, ve don'd haf zis problem in Europe'.......Well guess what Einstein, you okes in Europe don't know jack about African conditions!!!!!
He also commented that nowhere else in the world do guys ride GS's the way we do in SA.......

;D ;D ;D ;D Talkin of which must do some work on the plate today. My problem with the 1200 is that the blerry mounts to the sump have to be so weak because the sump itself is so weak, if you strengthen the mounts you will just break the mounts before the sump.
