We were in Lesotho the past weekend for the "Roof of Africa" and on Friday afternoon we decided to go and ride Jockstrap pass.
We were 8 guys with the following bikes, 990, 950SE, 640, Honda XR650 and KLR650. We drove the route from north to south from the bottom up.
It is a very interesting route with lots of loose rocks and steep drop off's. The pass starts with a few switchbacks followed by a 100meter straight rocky section up to the village and then another intersting two switchbacks.
I will let the video and photo's tell the story. ( The best and most interesting part I did not video simply because I was consentrating so much on riding that I completely forgot to turn the helmet cam on )

Eish that looks like a "six-pack at the top please" trail.

Oh heng... another Jockstrap Pass thread, with awesome pics!

Don't you guys understand! Mark drools, salivates and gets all glassy eyed when he sees this, and I KNOW he's planning a trip... and I will HAVE to join him...

My heart gets tight, my hands start perspiring and basically I get just to the edge of panic when seeing this...

So THANKS!

Awesome ride though guys!  ;D

Not my cup of tea but big up for getting through there. Respect  :thumleft:

Awesome! Glad there are people cashing in on the spell of good weather Lesotho has been having.
That helmet cam makes the drop-off into the kloof look extra scary!!! Thanks for sharing.  :thumleft:

Julle manne het guts dit moet ek se !! Ons het die pass laasjaar gedoen op 450's en 530's en dit was nie maklik nie, laasjaar was dit egter bietjie koeler weer wat dit lekkerder gemaak het. ;)
Maar op my 990..............ek dink eks bietjie te treurig...... :p :thumleft:

that looks so easy ... i could walk up it  :ricky:

First words in the video sums it up: "Ag nee, fok." Hectic. Respect guys.

Could you PM the GPS co-ords (start and end)  for me as the Grahamstown Greyhounds would like to include this in our next trip. Thank you
