I tried to remove the dB killer inserts this weekend and the one did not want to come out. Ended up pulling the pipe loose from the housing. :imaposer:
Looking for two inserts if you have the same or similar with the same diameter.
The housing part is still stuck inside and I still have to try and get it out somehow!
The idea is to remove the inserts for shorter trips around the pot and to insert them for longer trips.
Must say this exhaust is LOUD without them. I think they were not really meant to be removed as the holding bolt heads were welded almost right around, also took a lot of grinding to free the bolts. Was quite a mission and killed a few hours of the weekend!
Help or suggestions to remove the bit that is stuck will also be welcomed, thanks!
