Hi everyone. Very new to the site but think I'm going to enjoy trawling the pages.
I have some time off and want to head out of the country for two weeks before the end of September. I am thinking Botswana and Namibia are similar to SA and the safest options if traveling alone.
I'll be having a look at advice people have posted for other trips, but was also wondering if there was anyone who would be keen to join me on such a trip. No hectic offloading - although dirt roads would be fine. If I go alone I'd stick to the main roads.
What do you veterans feel about that? Should I only go with some form of support or is not much of a big deal in Bots and Nam, given I'm not very technical wrt bike maintenance?
