Taken from Boertjieâ??s story about his fall in George on the way to the 2007 Bash https://wilddog.net.za/forum/index.php?topic=12010.0

â??........we caught up with a VERY slow brick delivery truck. There was a solid line, with a broken line starting soon... being visible probably 25 m in fronmt of the truck. As we slowed down behind the truck, it went left, with two wheels off the tarred surface and switched on its right indicator. I accepted that it indicated that we should pass. I waited for the broken line and once we reached this, I accelerated hard......â?

This is a scenario one must consider with utmost care! About two months ago, on the road between Delmas and Standerton, I had a big truck in front of me of which the driver, more than once, deliberately tried to catch me out >:D He signaled to me on blind rises and on the approach to blind left turns on the most critical of moments when an oncoming vehicle was only seconds away. If I had accepted his kind gesture there and then it would have been fatal for me.

Be very careful out there!
