Kobus Landsberg
Puppy
I need to lower my 300 Rally to keep it in the family.
Current seat height is just over 910mm (I have a YSS rear shock, not the wet noodle standard suspension).
There is also not as much sag with a rider on the bike as with the standard rear shock, even with the preload adjusted as low as possible.
I would prefer to not put the standard rear shock back.
Ideally I need to lower it to 850mm.
I assume this can be done using lowering links and dropping the front a bit, but am not sure if it is even possible to lower it by 60+mm, so...
Is it possible to lower it that much safely?
If it is, where would I find lowering links, and how do I know which lowering links to use?
