Everybody seems to have their own theory on what the best protection is for your bikes chain and sprockets.

I have heard from Duckhams boiling grease to using nothing!!

Assuming in this day and age that most of us use X or O ring chains, what is the best solution and why to the longevity of these wearing parts?

Most probably know not to use a high pressure cleaner on chains.

I'm assume it's ok to name specific products and why.

What sort of kilometerage are you getting out of average adventure bike rides on your XR650L drive train? (not Hare Scramble and WFO enduro mud holes!!)
