I mean the width, not height or weight. It's like a single seater from a lounge suiteThey are all, KTM, BMW, or Yamaha, etc. big boys and not much different in weight and height. You may even find the KTM Super Adventure you are drooling over is a tad heavier than either BMW.
Ah yes, the width. That yes. Just like height and weight, they are all big boys. Nice and wide, they are.I mean the width, not height or weight. It's like a single seater from a lounge suite
I've never seen 1 person, let alone 2 people picking up a KTM. I havent seen one down yet , but I've seen 1, 2 or 3 people trying to pick up that tank . Yamahahaha is good. A T660 or T700 are nice bikesThere was however some mention of two people required to pick one of them up, which sort has me thinking about weight as well.
Anyway, time for you to just accept admit that between BMW and KTM it is clear Yamaha is the best.
So, if two people are needed to pick up a 240kg GS, or a 260kg GSA, how many will be required to pick up a 280kg KTM, by you calculations?I've never seen 1 person, let alone 2 people picking up a KTM. Only 1. KTM riders are more intelligent and know how to pick up their bikes IF they ever drop itSo, if two people are needed to pick up a 240kg GS, or a 260kg GSA, how many will be required to pick up a 280kg KTM, by you calculations?
Strange that intelligence bit. I thought it rather more clever to get your mates to help you pick up your bike.Only 1. KTM riders are more intelligent and know how to pick up their bikes IF they ever drop it
ohhhh how i miss my B KINGMy bike perving. If you zoom in slightly, the 650 and the 800gs are parked next to each other just behind the 1340

Between all of those, SYM is still the bestSo, we accept that between BMW and KTM, Honda is best and you tell us the important stuff, like:
- Total distance covered
- Total fuel used
- Good / bad investment
- etc.
Perhaps but why ride with buddies, if you are not going to help each other? It is just not the biker way. That's just laziness
The monkey lift works well.... and is fun at the same time!Perhaps but why ride with buddies, if you are not going to help each other? It is just not the biker way.
And if you ride alone? Leave your bike there to go look for your buddiesPerhaps but why ride with buddies, if you are not going to help each other? It is just not the biker way.
Then you pick it up yourself, or ask this chick to do or for you. Easy peasy if you know the technique. And if you ride alone? Leave your bike there to go look for your buddies

Janee. Thankfully a GS with the kitchen cupboards on each side is unlikely to trap your leg under it.I have actually had much more trouble getting out from under the bike, sometimes your foot gets pinned and you wriggle like a earthworm in vinegar before you get your foor out. Then picking up is easy as you are boosted by the embarrassment.
That reverse walk trick is the best to pick up a heavy bike
