The Alfie Cox dual sport Weekend is just over 2 months away, so a few of us went out this weekend to look for a new route between craigieburn and Muden.

Found what looks like a nice route on Google Earth, but as is always the case, what looks nice and flat on GE is often less so when you get there.

Looking forward to seeing my track in real life, 59 km through bush, mountains and rivers

After about a km of hauling our bikes over rocks we decided if we carried on any further downhill we wouldn't be able to get up again so we turned around and struggled back up the hill. At this point I left my sense of humour down in the valley where we stopped, so there were no pics for a while

Anyway, after a bit of bundu bashing we managed to find a route out of there that linked up with a district road.
