Mapsource packed up on PC

I need help!!!

My Mapsource application is not opening up anymore. It worked last week, but since today it's acting up.  I've un-installed all Mapsource products & re-installed them, but no luck.  I've mailed Garmap/Avnic, because no one answers the phone, and await their answer... but patience is not my forte.

What else can I do, except for throwing the PC through the window?
