Looking at a new rear tyre on the old 1100 GS.
It currently has K3's on both front and back.
I'm not unhappy with them (but only after VERY little gravel use, maybe 200km), they're also good enough on tar (also VERY little use so far).
I have read about punctures and mileage etc etce tc on the K3's.
In short - would you recommend me getting a new K3 rear or not?? Or are there better alternatives, for at least now for the time being a rear tyre?? The current K3 front is still as new (and I like it so far, it has an aggressive grip pattern)
Usage will be (I guess) 40-50% Gravel, 50-60% Tar. Obviously nothing rough and technical, its a 1100 Pig, FFS
Pricing is VERY good at R 1776, se here https://trac-mac.com/less-20percent-tyres-online-only/2604-15070-17-metzeler-karoo-3.html
But ja, I'd rather fork out a couple extra $$$ for a better option, if there is one
THANKS
