The KendaK270 is the best IMHO but for our upcoming trip we will be doing lots of sand and I am tempted to try the T63 or Desert, problem is the Desert cost R750-00 but is so hard you will never get a puncture and you can almost ride the tyre flat without damaging it. Who's actually used them? And opinions?
No matter the terrain, the temperature, the horsepower, or the weight of the bikes, the Desert is the unanimous choice of Dakar winners.
Its exceptional durability and performance in all conditions have made it unbeatable.
There's also the Baja
Grip
Easy drive
Endurance
For racing or cross-country adventure rides, the Baja is ideal for bikes up to 650cc. It offers grip, precise control and durability on the most demanding terrain
T63, this is the tyre that only lasted 1500km on Groenies bike at 100km/h. Think Michelin got some pics messed up, it looks the same as the Desert
