Midas O-Ring Kits

I have one of those plastic boxes with O-rings that you buy at Midas.  The ones with the multiple numbers of multiple sizes.  Anybody know what they are made of and what their compatibility is?  I need it for a Dot 4 brake-fluid application.  I have submerged one below a layer of brake-fluid to test whether it will disintegrate or swell in the meantime...
