I bought a Motorradical bashplate from BMW and fitted it myself. Found I had to struggle to fit it as it seemed a bit out, but with force I got it on. Well yesterday, decided to take it off to clean the engine properly and found that 2 of the rubber mounts has sheared off. This morning I phoned Bruce and enquired what I can do to rectify the situation. "The plates are made to exact specification and should fit with no problems" said Bruce. " Bring the bike and plate to the factory and lets have a look"
So I took it there expecting to get a bit of a run around. They had a look it said it did not fit properly because kiepie did not remove the nuts between the sump and the rubber mounts. :-[ :-[
Took them off and the plate fitted 100% - no struggeling. Bruce replaced 2 of the rubber mount studd thingies as well as the front bolt - no charge
