Im somewhat of a novice when it comes to ADV riding and even more so when it comes to MX riding. Ive only been riding for 5 years and its not like Im 20 years old either.
I did however find that once I started riding an MX bike, I felt more comfortable and confident on my KLR. Now my son also rides a MX bike and I thought it would be good if the two of us get some MX training (as seen in my avatar, he needs it  ).
Question is. Would proper MX training help even more with ADV riding or after the 'basics' do the two styles start diverging ? Input from some old hands please.
