Sunday my lighty (14) rode my brother in law's 230 around his plot. Had to pry him off with a crowbar!!!

Tell us more about R1000 for the kit. Did it come with alles? -  Harness, lights, flickers, brake switch, mirrors? Does it have a speedo / is a speedo needed for road worthy?

TM..

True

ThinkMike, when I initially enquired, Honda East London quoted me R1200 for the harness and lights, but then my daughter ordered additional items and the account was R3000 which included the wiring harness, all lights, hooter, speedo, mirrors, handbar protectors, bashplate, and I think the side stand, licensing, numberplate and registration in her name.  I will give her a tinkle tonight and found out what the items cost separately.

Lekker! Het sy al van kleins af bike gery soos die pw 50 ens.?????????

Of het sy onlangs beging ry of toe sy groter fietse soos 125's????

Thanks KALLY, I am really privileged.

madmax, jy  :pot: weer.  :imaposer:

See Duiwel, sy het Sondag iets genoem van see boude.  ;D

spoedvark, sy het eers onlangs vir die eerste keer op haar 250 geklim en vandaar het ek oornag grys geword, die kind het nie 'n banghaar op haar kop nie.  Maar ek glo sy sal nog haar klasgeld betaal.

:thumleft: Now that's what I call quality time with your kid!!

nothing better than riding with your kids,my daughter started a Stellenbosch varsity now I have to bribe my other daughter to mess up her hair and ride with dad.
As for the atgatt police tell them to phone life line.
great area :thumleft:

Great report and pictures.

Both my Son and Wife learn't to ride on one of these bikes, first my Wife then my Son.

In order to get the engine revs to run slightly slower at cruising speeds I upped the front sprocket by one tooth this worked nicely with no noticeable power decrease. Had my Son have ridden the bike for longer I possibly would have also dropped the rear sprocket a few teeth as well.

Enjoy every moment riding with your daughter.

Wees nou maar eerlik. If you have a Honda you have wings. Dan gaan jy eendag - nadat jy baie baie myle gery het - straight hemel toe.

Thanks Buks

Thanks BMWPE, it is a great area for the EC Bash, but it's held at Baviaans this year.

Thanks Drazil

Thanks for the advice GeoffR

jimjim, en daar gaan ons verder ry.

Awsome pictures Vis Arend!
My grandmother had a trading store at Toise River in the 60' early 70' and my grandfather worked at the wool washing plant that was situated right on the river. I've never been back since they passed away, but I can see from Google Earth that things have changed a lot.
Please post more pics if you do a ride in that area again please. :thumleft:
