I am not new to biking but definitely new to dirt / off-road riding. I currently own a Honda NC 700 X that I use daily for commuting and some touring. In December I was down in PE and took a ride out to Patensie (start of Baviaans Kloof). I realized the shortcomings of my ride there :'(
With standard road tires on the NC is not comfortable on even good dirt roads. So I am looking to expand my riding horizons :ricky:
I have been looking at these:
F800 GS / GSA
Triumph 800 XC SE
New Suzuki Dl1000 (due in couple of months)
Any other suggestions or comments on the bikes I listed?
It will be my daily commuter, weekend toy and tourer.
Once I do have a definite shortlist I will be taking all the bikes for a lengthy spin :biggrin:
