There comes a time in a man's life when DIY is the way to go. So I splashed out and got myself a proper nickel plating machine.
Wow... I picked the worst looking parts lying around and gave it a whirl.
This is one step away from chromium. (chrome), but chrome tends to be very shiny and chips off when you spanner it. This is the way to go for oem bolts and shafts, that will cost a fortune to replace (if even possible)..
The shop is now doing all its plating in house, and soon I will make this service available to some chinas in cpt.
